Malacanang underscores importance of gathering
concrete evidence of PDAF misuse, pork barrel abuse
Malacanang underscored the importance of
gathering complete, concrete and reliable evidence against conspirators and
co-conspirators who allegedly misused the priority development assistance fund
for their benefit in order for justice to prosper and for those found guilty to
answer for their crimes.
Deputy Presidential Spokesperson Abigail Valte
said in a press briefing aired over government-run radio station dzRB Radyo ng
Bayan on Sunday that President Benigno S. Aquino III had issued directives and
had made it clear that he wanted the conspirators and co-conspirators to be
found guilty and to be persecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
natin doon sa PDAF (priority development assistance fund),” Valte said.
makakakuha ng isang conviction,” she added.
She said there would be no sacred cows in the
ongoing investigation of the controversy as they would adhere to the rule of
law and follow where “the evidence would lead us.”
ang proseso,” Valte said. PND (rck)
