Aquino to keynote 110th PNP Anniversary
President Benigno S. Aquino III will be the guest of honor and keynote speaker during the commemoration of the Philippine National Police’s 110th Police Service Anniversary that will be held at the PNP multi-purpose center in Camp Crame on Monday (August 8).
The President will be welcomed by PNP Chief Director General Raul Bacalzo and Interior and Local Secretary Jesse Robredo.
The President will award 23 members, employees and regional offices of the PNP for exemplary performance in the line of duty.
These policemen are: Police Senior Superintendent Manuel Gaerlan – Senior Police Commissioned Officer for Administration; PSSupt. Ronald dela Rosa – Senior Police Commissioned Officer for Operation; PCInsp. Romeo Santander – Junior Police Commissioned Officer; SPO4 Florante Ubina – Senior Police Non-Commissioned Officer; PO2 Nelson Sad-Ang – Junior Police Non-Commissioned Officer;

The Philippine National Police was founded on August 8, 1901. In 1991, the PNP was separated from the Armed Forces of the
Philippines and became a civilian law enforcement agency under the Department of the Interior and Local Government.(PCOO)
